While it sounds frustrating, the game does not have any aim penalties, meaning no need for zooming in anyways even when packing a sniper rifle. Changing the sensitivity help when zooming, but of course, speeds up the general aiming. In fact, I only have one complaint about each of the sides the humans' aiming has different sensitivities (it slows down when you zoom down the sights). Initially, I thought I was going to hate them, but after just a short time, I found they are really not that bad. Regardless of the side you choose, the controls are a little wonky at first. Gameplay and ControlsĪgain, everything is either human or dinosaur, and each one controls different as well.

While the community is not super large, you'll find a couple dozen servers up and running which can be found through server search lists.

The most popular game mode that I found, out of all of them, is the Free Roam mode where everyone chooses to play as either human or dinosaur, switching teams at any time is allowed, and there is no objective other than killing. There is also a "Hunt" mode that I was unable to find a server for. Your objective is to secure checkpoints until you reach the final one with a chopper, which then you'll be able to escape. All ranked matches award Extinction Points (EXP) that go towards ranking up and unlocking more skins.Team Deathmatch is pretty explanatory, but Get to the Chopper mode plays almost like a game of checkpoint domination. Make sure your dinosaur or merc looks their best by obtaining a variety of skins and accessories through the in-game store, drop system, or Steam Marketplace. With blizzards, lava and acid pits to contend with, you'll have more than guns and teeth to worry about. Wage over the top prehistoric warfare across a variety of environments, ranging from lush tropical jungles, to perilous mountaintops and abandoned labs.

Challenge yourself to a never-ending onslaught of AI dinosaurs in Survival co-op.
